A little over a year ago I was at a very low point in my life. I’ve experienced many low points, but this time was different because I had a family. I was fighting the same battles as before, but this time my kids and husband were becoming affected by my inner turmoil. I was mentally, physically, and emotionally drained. I was a sinking ship that was taking more innocent people down with me. I refused to let my pain become their pain so I reached out for help and was introduced to Cheryl. That was the day my life began to change. I’m so grateful that God placed her in my path. Finally I had someone I felt safe enough with to let the pain out that had been destroying my life. Finally I had someone who just listens without judgement. She lets me feel whatever emotion I’m feeling in the moment. I never knew how much I needed that. I honestly thought the way I handled my trauma was “normal”. She showed me it was actually a sign of strength.  I have more hope now, than I’ve ever had. I’m beginning to look forward to what the future has for me, instead of just waiting for my time to be up so the pain will finally end. She’s helping me start to love myself. I don’t know what’s down the road for me, but I know I can count on Cheryl to be there to help me figure it out. She is definitely an answer to my prayers! ❤️
